South West Marine Training is an MCA approved STCW-95 and RYA training centre situated in beautiful South Devon
Situated on the beautiful English Riviera in South Devon. Torbay is flanked by the towns of Torquay, Paignton and Brixham. We have a strong reputation and run STCW-95 courses every month throughout the year. A friendly relaxed approach to your training has made us one of the leading training centres in the UK.
You can choose to take part in individual courses or the complete 4 modules which offers a multiple booking discount. Our centres are based in Plymouth and Brixham with good access by road, rail and air.

Monday - Saturday 9.00 a.m. until 5.30 p.m.

STCW-95 Combined Fastrack
This is a 5 day course which includes all the four modules listed below. Can be completed in one session or individually over multiple dates. Dates are determined when selecting the individual components.

STCW-95 Elementary First Aid
The STCW-95 Elementary First Aid course is a mandatory module for commercial working and provides you with a fundamental knowledge of basic life-saving techniques.
STCW-95 Personal Survival Techniques
STCW-95 Personal Survival Techniques or Sea Survival in real English; an essential module to help you stay alive and assist others if required to abandon to a life-raft or life boat.
Personal Safety & Social Responsibilities
A course to guide you in the basic health and safety of life onboard a merchant ship or super yacht.
STCW-95 Basic Fire Fighting
An enlightening course which gets you into the thick of it in real but carefully controlled fire situations courtesy of the Fire Brigade
